Installing Football Manager 2009, FM 2009 Install Guide step by step, ya just a little guide to you if you don't know to install Football manager 2009. I hope this guide help people how to install Football manager 2009. Please read before ask!!
STEP 1:
Run Setup.exe on your Football Manager 2009 DVD
STEP 2:
Choose your language Dansk, English, Norsk, or Svenska and then click OK
STEP 3:
This is just introduction step, click Next
STEP 4:
STEP 5:
In FM 2009, must be aunthenticated before the game will run, choice your method:
- Install via Steam or
- Install via Uniloc
STEP 6:
STEP 7:
This is summary of with express install. If you want change the location FM 2009 Install Folder, click Previous and then choose Advance. To Continou this click Install.
STEP 8:
Install in progress...
STEP 9:
Click Done to quit the installer.

STEP 5:

Choice Express if you are not configure folder of Football manager 2009 or default setting. Choice Advance
if your'e expert on Installing Program.STEP 7:

I failed to start playing fm09 due to the error saying, 'd3d9.dll was not found, Re-reinstalling the application may fix the problem.' PLS HELP ME :(
you need instal directx first, download from microsoft with latest DirectX
when i try to install ,this message appears: error: could not find java 2 runtime environment
install with advance install, then check on java install, or you can manual insatll java. search at the google.com java runtime download

what a nightmare this game is to install by the way!!! ive installed the game through steam but when try to open the game it says error and summat about graphics, how do i get the game working???

where can I find product key??
i was happily playing fm09 for 2 weeks then soft anchor appeared saying trial period over get new key. to get a new key go to www.sigames.com which was nonsense as you cant get product keys there. now when i install it says done but errors occured, check installation log. im not a pc expert so dont expect to buy a game, have to download patches and graphics cards, drivers, dirextx etc i do however expect TO BUY A GAME, INSERT AND THEN PLAY. no verifying poduct keys an s*** like that. This game is really atrocious and as such i will throw it on the floor, stamp on it three times and then feed it to next doors cat!

for some reason the players attributes show bar instead of numbers and i cannot change that.
also it shows a whole bunch of numbers where it should show what position your team is currently.

Frankly I tell you, ever since the FM team upgraded FM 09 with many new features, the game has started to "suck".The game requires many advanced features for you computer in order to optimize your game play.Now the team has added a new installation method unlike the previous FM version.I just miss the old FM...Hope the FM team will just get back to the basic game features...
When I run setup.exe, it asked me to run as... And as I provided my admin password, I got to step 2, but when I click english (or whatever), I get error message The installer can not be run on this system - The installer can not run on your configuration. It will now quit. I am running 64bit XP, 4GB RAM, AMD X2 6000 CPU...
I get to the pre installation summary and when i click install nothing happens it does not go to the installing screen it just stays at the pre installtion screen the words on the left go grey but it just stays there i can click previous but it wont go forward please help

This game is an utter nightmare. I've never encounter something that's so user-hostile. You'd expect to insert a game and play. All this steam and product-code stuff just bewilders users and the developers need to do a better job with it next time. I personally inserted the disk and was taken to an installation menu. Then, it took me to some other plaved where i had to open an online account and so forth. This game sucks when it comes to installling...........
